BSNLEU will not allow curtailment of any right of the employees. Some unions and associations have reported on their websites, that the CMD, BSNL has conveyed to them, the intension of the management to put on hold certain concessions of the employees, such as LTC, leave encashment, payment of medical allowance without vouchers and deferment of promotions. No such proposal has been conveyed to BSNLEU by the management. So far as BSNLEU is concerned, it will firmly oppose any move by the management to curtail any of the existing rights/concessions of the employees, under the guise of saving the company. The employees cannot be punished for the failures of the management. If necessary, BSNLEU will not hesitate to launch struggles to safeguard the hard earned rights of the employees.
